About Us Hello - I am Sue Waters - often known as Cakey Sue, and I have been baking and decorating cakes for over 20 years, the last six of which as a professional wedding, birthday and celebration cake maker in Staffordshire. My cake decorating studio in Stoke on Trent has been in use since 2002 and I love it to bits. Many of my customers first heard of me through the local radio stations, BBC Radio Stoke and Signal Radio, as they regularly give me a mention. In fact it was Sam Plank, a popular presenter of the airwaves that gave me my nickname. In the summer of 2002 I made a birthday cake for Gareth Gates, presented by Signal Radio, which was very exciting.
